Why Talundia?
Why is the game called "Talundia"?
The name Talundia is inspired by the Estonian word "talund", which is the local word for a small farm.I wanted the name for the game to be reminiscent of small farms in the most pleasant way possible, but in such a way that the game is not called something like "Homestead Simulator" or something similar, which gets lost in the huge mass of hits in Internet searches. It should be a proper name and also sound idyllic.
That's why I looked at translations for the word "farm" in numerous languages
and discovered the Estonian "talund".
I liked that, and it wasn't far from "Talund" to "Talundia".
