Talundia
Welcome to my website about Talundia
Plant your vegetable garden, look after your animals and live off your produce.
Talundia will be a cozy little game in which you manage a small farm and make a living from growing vegetables. You can also keep chickens and other small animals. There will also be further adventures for our heroes in the idyllic, old-fashioned world of Talundia.
Talundia is being developed by me alone. I am a grandmother and have been a programmer for over 40 years. So it made sense for me to develop a game myself. I use the Unreal Engine for Talundia. Talundia is currently still at the very beginning of development.
Here and in my videos I will tell you about the development of Talundia. So you can experience first-hand and partly help decide how the game idea gradually becomes a real game.
Talundia Trailer
Here you can watch the first trailer for my game Talundia. The trailer gives you a first impression of the landscape and the gameplay of Talundia, accompanied with dreamy music.

Talundia Impressions
New on Talundia.com
Here I tell you about the latest developments in my game Talundia.
For smaller innovations there is a picture and if there is more to report, I make a video.
July 20, 2024: Soundtrack for Talundia
At Talundia there will be several styles of music to choose from, from melodic music to country, folk and rock music. For the soft, melodic style of music I have already put together several songs and pieces of music without vocals. You can listen to them here.
To the soundtrack page...Video: Rice, Wheat and River Bank
I show you my latest additions to the garden, such as wheat, rice and flax, and I show you the decorated river bank. Together we decorate another part of the riverbank.

River Bank
Today I did some work on the river bank for Talundia.
I think, one small piece turned out pretty well.
Video: first Gameplay and Trailer
Now we can harvest the vegetables and fruits and we can make money selling them. I also made the first trailer for my game Talundia. The trailer gives you a first impression of the landscape and the gameplay of Talundia, accompanied with dreamy music.

Video on the vegetable garden
In this video I show you what I built since the last video. And we fill the garden planters with a variety of vegetables.

Big tree
So that we have a few distinctive trees near the farm and elsewhere on the map, I have retextured a low-poly tree with better textures.
I think the tree looks pretty good.
Butterflies
There are now lots of butterflies fluttering around in the flower meadow in front of the farm.
To make the gathering of lots of butterflies seem more believable, I added a particularly flower-rich bush.
Well
Our small farm has a well. We can later use the well water to water our vegetable beds.
We can also use the well for our drinking water.
Fireplace
I built a fireplace with a table and benches in the middle of our yard.
This way we can enjoy cozy barbecue evenings later.
Beautifying the yard
Since the last video, I have decorated and rebuilt a lot of things on the yard.
It already looks much cozier.
When I have prepared the vegetable beds, there will be a new video.
Video on building a farm
We are starting with the construction of a small farm in Talundia. The house will be a tiny house with simple furnishings. In this video we furnish the small house with self-made furniture. We are also building a small shelter with an integrated workshop.

Video: We are founding Talundia
This time we are founding Talundia. It will initially be a test landscape in which I will gradually incorporate all the functions for the game Talundia. When all elements, e.g. buildings, people and functions for the game are ready, I can then quickly build the actual game.
